Turkey/Greece Trip -May 30, 2025 - Home Coming!!

We are so thankful and grateful for the friendships made with other members of the body of Christ during this amazing Biblical studies experience! Prayers for safe travels home have been answered in the affirmative for most of our group. Six of our group have extended travel from the end of our journey together and our prayers are with them.

We had a long day of sitting in airplanes, interspersed with flat out runs to catch connections. Turns out Turkish Donkey soap (don’t ask) is problematic for airport security. But in the end it all worked out and we are home and enjoyed a deep sleep in our own beds!

Turkey is an amazing country that is the site of so much of our New Testament heritage and of the early spread of the good news of the resurrection of our Savior. It was exciting and definitely a highlight of the trip to visit Nicea (Iznik) at the time of the anniversary of the Nicaean Creed. Already looking forward to going back some day… maybe some of you will come along???
