American History Comes Alive!
Recently, I took a short trip to Washington DC. Over the last couple of weeks I have been wanting to see some Biblical Artifacts at the Museum of the Bible in Washington DC (posts to follow). The Museum of the Bible is about one and half blocks off from the National Mall and so close to all of the Presidential Monuments and War Memorials.
I have never been to DC and probably should confess that my knowledge of Biblical History is much greater than our Nations.
While we were there one evening we took a night time tour of monuments and memorials light up. Highly recommend. Our guide and driver was an American history and civics walking encyclopedia. And he was funny (Ask for Kareem).
It was a very fun couple of days and really made history come alive.
